1. About competition: The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is the biggest event in the world to be exclusively devoted to inventions. Geneva Inventions benefit from the most extensive support and privileges that can be granted to an exhibition. It is under the patronage of the Swiss Federal Government, the State, the City of Geneva and of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This support testifies to the usefulness and quality of the event, now acknowledged as the most important exhibition of inventions anywhere today. The exhibition attracts more 30.000 visitors and inventors from 45 countries along with 650 journalists from both the written and spoken press and television all over the world.
