Asian Science and Mathematics Olympiad is a global assessment of Science, Math and English competencies for students from Primary to High School run by ASMO International Organizing Committee. The Olympiad has been well-known all over the world.
  The exam is held annually in many countries around the world including Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, ... Most recently, the ASMO 2018 exam was held in Thailand with a total of 40,000 contestants, Malaysia with a total of 19,000 contestants, Singapore with 9,000 contestants participating. This is the first time ASMO has been organized in Vietnam and Research Institute of Creative Education Science is the exclusive representative authorized by the ASMO Organizing Committee to organize and select candidates. 1. Meaning and goals
1.1. Meaning:
- Provide an intellectual challenge through the subjects Science, Math and English for students in the region and around the world.
- Discover and encourage young talents to develop and contribute to the education of each country in particular and the International in general.
- Promote effective learning and development of Science, Math and English thinking from Primary to High School through a widely recognized outcome measurement and evaluation platform at International level.
1.2. Target:
- Assessing students' Science, Math and English competencies at different levels.
- Enhancing the experience of Science and Mathematics in intellectual stimulating activities. Help students enhance mathematical intuition, logical thinking and solving problems strategies.
- Students get acquainted, approach knowledge bases, gain experience to take part in International exams.

2.2. Organizing Committee:

2.3. Participants
- Science: students from grades 3 to 9.
- Math: students from grades 1 to 11.
- English: students from grades 3 to 9.
2.4. Expected location: In Hanoi, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Nam Dinh.
2.5. Expected organization time:
- Round 1: May 26, 2019
 + Math: 9:00 - 11:00
 + English: 14h30 - 15h45
 + Science: 16h30 -17h30
- Round 2: August 25, 2019
- Round 3: November 2019 in the host country of ASMO International 2019 (expected in Hunan, China)
2.6. Exam structure:
- Exam questions papers: Provided by ASMO International Organizing Committee.
- Exam format: multiple choice exam and answer filling.
- Exam language: English or Vietnamese (selected by candidates).
2.7. Examination Council:
The Vietnam Physics Association and the Research Institute of Creative Education in collaboration with the ASMO International Organizing Committee will set up a judging council consisting of scientists, mathematicians, reputable and professional teachers. Results will be verified and approved by ASMO International Organizing Committee.
2.8. Prize structure:
Participants will receive a Certificate, Medal (Gold, Silver, Bronze) from ASMO International Organizing Committee, which is an impressive achievement for them to complete their profile, expand the chance to study abroad and other learning opportunities. Candidates with excellent results in 2 rounds in Vietnam will be enrolled in the Top Ranking of the ASMO International BTC and selected to attend International Round and November 2019 in China.
