ASMO Final Round Results in Hunan, China

On December 1, the final round of ASMO took place in Hunan, China. Vietnamese students excellently won 2 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, 3 Bronze Medals and Team First Prize in Mathematics. Nguyen Viet Hoang, a student of Le Quy Don school, Lao Cai province, achieved a maximum score of 100/100 in Maths, won a Gold Medal, also ranked first in the entire delegation.
 

Nguyen Viet Hoang – student of Le Quy Don Secondary School, Lao Cai City, took the Math exam for Upper Primary level and excelled with a perfect score of 100/100.

In Maths contest, Upper Primary team including Nguyen Viet Hoang - Le Quy Don Secondary School, Lao Cai; Dang Gia Khanh - Nguyen Sieu Secondary School, Hanoi; Vu Nguyen Nam Anh - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi; Luong Nguyen Minh Ngoc - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Primary School, Hai Phong excellently won the First Prize.
 

In ASMO 2019, contestants compete in two subjects Math and Science and have to take two tests: an individual round and a team round. The questions in the exam are highly practical and academic, belonging to the caliber of a major international Olympic competition in the world. The jury is comprised of renowned scientists and experts from around the world. The brilliant results of Vietnam delegation once again affirmed the high position of Vietnam on the map of worldwide Mathematics Olympiads.
The ASMO International Science and Mathematics Olympiad is a global assessment contest of Science, Math and English competencies for students from Primary to High School run by ASMO International Organizing Committee. The exam is held annually in many countries around the world such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, ... This is the first time Vietnam attended AMSO and the Research Institute of Creative Education Science is the exclusive representative authorized by the ASMO Organizing Committee to organize and select candidates for the competition
